Maintaining computer security is a prerequisite to maintaining confidentiality of client information. In this day of computer hacking, phishing and ransomware, attorneys are under more pressure than ever to defend their information systems. The basics of computer and information systems security are generally outside average attorneys’ expertise. This course is intended to acquaint the participants with some of the basic methods used to compromise information networks and how to protect their systems with backups of data and software necessary to provide a reasonable level of protection from these attacks.
