The Wichita Area Chapter of Legal Administrators was born in 1981 when a small group of administrators began meeting regularly at the Wichita Club to discuss issues and problems within the legal field. In 1986 the first officers were elected and in February 1987 Wichita became the first Kansas chapter with The International Association of Legal Administrators.

Wichita Bar Auxiliary
The Wichita Bar Auxiliary is a group composed of spouses of attorneys. They meet monthly from September through June and are involved in numerous social events and community service projects during the year.

Wichita Bar Foundation
The Wichita Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Wichita Bar Association whose mission is to support educational and charitable programs that promote legal education, the advancement of the legal profession, and appreciation of the Rule of Law. It provides an outlet for attorneys who want to give back to the community.

Wichita Bar Senior Lawyers Section
Any member of the Wichita Bar Association, who is 55 years of age or older, is eligible for membership in this group. The Senior Lawyers Section meets socially the first Tuesday of the month.

Wichita Women Attorneys Association
Wichita Women Attorneys Association is a not-for-profit association of persons having a common business interest and associated for the purpose of promoting the interests of women in the legal profession. The organization provides resources, opportunities and support to women attorneys. Membership is open to men and women. The group meets once a month from September through June.

Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of the Wichita Bar Association
Young Lawyers is a section of the Wichita Bar Association focused on assisting the new attorney to life in the legal "real world." Any member of the WBA who is either 35 years of age or younger, or within the first five years of practice is eligible for membership.
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month (September through May) at 5:30 p.m. for an after-work social hour that includes food, drink, interesting and informative speakers, as well as a whole lot of young attorney friends. The meeting location is TBA each month.
