Technology and Legal Ethics (Part 1)
1:10 – 2:00 p.m., (50 minutes – Ethics), presented by
Nicki Rose
With all new forms of media and communication comes new challenges, and as lawyers are finding across the United States, these challenges often involve legal ethics. What can you do when a former client posts an inaccurate and negative review of your services online? How can I use an opposing party’s social media in my case? What is metadata and what are my responsibilities for it? If you’ve ever posed one of these questions, or think you may have need to in the future, then this ethics seminar is for you. In this two-hour seminar, Ms. Rose will answer these questions and many more while discussing how to ethically navigate as an attorney in this new digital age.

Break 2:00 – 2:10 p.m.

Technology and Legal Ethics (Part 2)
2:10 – 3:00 p.m. (50 minutes – Ethics), presented by Nicki Rose

This hour will be a continuation of part 1. Ms. Rose will discuss how to ethically navigate as an attorney in this new digital age.
