Kansas eCourt: CCMS Project Update (March 28, 2019)

The centralized case management system project continues to move forward. Over the last several months the project team, track I clerks, and Tyler have worked to configure the system and review test conversions. Other tasks included developing and testing system modifications, as well as integrations with other systems, such as electronic filing. The final tasks for system configuration are being completed and final testing will take place in April.

Volunteers Train to Help Track 1 Courts

To prepare for final testing, system documentation is being finalized and business processes are being evaluated to ensure correct procedures are in place. The week of March 18, a group of volunteers from around the state took part in a two-day training session. This prepared them to help the project team and track I staff test business processes and procedures that will be used for training and will serve as reference materials once the system is live.

Track 1 User Training in May

User training for track I courts will be in May, which is just ahead of their June 3 go-live date. Tyler and OJA staff will be onsite in the track I courts following go-live to help the courts transition to the new centralized case management system.

Future Activities

As the solution validation process moves forward, and the project begins end-user training sessions, we will provide an additional update to report how the training and go-live process will be conducted.
