Rental Rates and Policies

 

Rental rates are as follows:

                     Conf. room #1:                1/2 day - $75.00*
                                                           
   All day - $100.00

                     Conf. room #2:                1/2 day - $100.00*
         
                                                     All day - $150.00 

                     Conf. room #3:                1/2 day - $75.00*
                                                              All day - $100.00 

                     Conf. room #4:                1/2 day - $ 75.00*
                                                              All day - $100.00

                     Conf. rooms #3 & 4:        1/2 day - $100.00*
                                                              All day - $150.00

*½ day = 4 hours or less; all day = more than 4 hours.

 

Wichita Bar Association Conference Room Policy

    1. The WBA Office is opened 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Events and set-up for events can only be scheduled during those hours. A group may come in the day before to set up as long as no other group is meeting in that room and set up is completed by 5:00 p.m. Please contact the WBA Office to make necessary arrangements.

    2. The group or organization hosting the event is responsible for set-up and clean up. If furniture is re-arranged, it must be returned to the original arrangement. Furniture should not be brought in from another conference room without WBA staff approval. Clean-up includes leaving the room in the original arrangement it was upon their arrival, clearing all trash and placing it in trash cans, cleaning up any spills, disposing of leftover food, and arranging for the caterer to pick up any serving dishes as soon as possible. Any items brought in for a meeting or event must be immediately removed at the end of the meeting or event. The WBA is unable to store any handouts, dishes, food, beverages or other items and reserves the right to discard any items left in the conference room area, kitchen, or refrigerator once the meeting or event is over.

    3. The group or organization hosting the event is responsible for making arrangements for any refreshment or catering needs. There is a kitchen available, but the WBA cannot provide paper products or serving utensils, so those needs should be anticipated in advance and provided by the group or organization hosting the event. If the kitchen is used, it needs to be left in the same condition it was found. Serving of alcohol requires special permission from the WBA. The use of red or grape punch and red wine is prohibited.

    4. We have a projector, DVD player, overhead projector, screen, microphone and podium available in our large conference room only. If any display or audio equipment is needed, it needs to be reserved at the time of scheduling.

    5. WBA office staff will be unable to provide clerical service.

    6. Office supplies and copying needs will need to be anticipated and completed prior to arrival since these items cannot be absorbed into the WBA budget.

    7. Visitors may park in the lot on the south side of the building. Additionally, there is a parking garage at the corner of 1st and Main Street, which is close and available. The WBA is not able to validate for that parking. There is limited on street metered parking available. Building tenants have reserved spots on the north and west side of the building, which are marked, and visitors should not park in those spots.
